About Colonial

Colonial Nursery School offers dedicated teachers, a sense of community, and a wonderful physical environment. But most importantly, its cooperative structure gives parents an incredible front row seat from which to witness their children's first educational and social experiences.

At Colonial Nursery School, our philosophy is to promote individuality, creativity, and diversity through experience-based learning. The arts are used in instruction and are woven into all aspects of the day.

Colonial Nursery School, Inc. is licensed by the Maryland State Board of Education. The Toddler Program is licensed by the Maryland Child Care Administration and is an affiliate of Colonial Nursery School, Inc.  Although we are currently located at the Eastport United Methodist Church, the school has no religious affiliations.
